501c Business Incubator Council, LLC™ was previously a management consultancy and Federal Teaming Partner that retuned full time to its 1970’s origin as a small biz volunteer. From 2015 on it has been putting together own network of incubator, economic development, financial services and workforce training charities in place from services its Foundation offer to better serve its otherwise ignored market of 501c startups, entrepreneurs & small business concerns. Except for the federal credit union its currently chartering, this network of new charities includes a national chamber, 501c founders association, and impact solutions forum all slated to launch later this year.
This segment of the small business community has been the Incubator Councils market for 45+ years originating as a pre-teens volunteer work.
Because they are ignored there is no competition so serving them has been rewarding and overwhelming.
The credibility of our efforts are instant because WE ARE having turned ongoing decades of volunteer work into a public Foundation who faces the same barriers, obstacles as those we’ve helped. But working from the ground up means we know where those chasms are, always learning what to do about them and innovating how to get it done.
501cs are are are legally registered business concerns with the same regulation, reporting, & other business obligations no different than their For-Profit siblings. As for tax exemption, they still pay taxes in any area UNRLATED to their specific mission & sub charter classification (see 990-T for unrelated business tax). That is determined by the IRS, which is why the approval is called a Letter of Determination.
EarlyBird Registration: An Origin Story
The Economic Empowerment Foundation for Exempt Startups & Small Businesses (EEF-501c)™ is the Incubators lead charity. It was established as a Fiscal Sponsor to provide whatever services new 501cs needed. Unable to meet the unexpected demand, the Foundation was restructured, its supporting services were elevated into individual charitable orgs & programs so it could hire as much help as is required going forward.
